MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR - CLUB/HEAT GAME NIGHT Jan 23rd 2010 - Mark in The Diary and Advise Doug Corker Your Attendance
MEMBERSHIP UPDATE:
Welcome to a new Membership season – 2009-2010 – hope everyone is as healthy as can be and ready for the Festive Season which is upon us.
The baseball season is well under way and the new DOMINO’S NATIONAL CLAXTON SHIELD Competition is now at the half way mark. The standings as I would see them are as follows:-
TEAM Played Win Loss RF RA Games Behind.
South Australia Bite 11 8 3 54 57 -
Victorian Aces 11 6 5 59 71 2
Barbagallo Perth Heat 12 6 6 54 57 2½
NSW Patriots 12 6 6 72 54 2½
Queensland Rams 12 3 9 44 76 5½
The Queensland Rams play at Baseball Park here on December 10th,11th and 12th then on January 7th for three nights, the South Australian Bite come to Perth for a re-match against our Barbagallo PERTH HEAT. The Bite are a different team from LAST YEAR when they only won 1 game out of their 16 scheduled games, so their appearance here on January 7th will be an exciting challenge for the HEAT and it is hoped that the stadium will be packed to the rafters with WA Fans.
